These are random posts but some funny things the kids are doing.

Who ever said that a Preying Mantis could not drive a tractor....watch out!

Gavin loves this motorcycle set (has been playing with it every afternoon for about two weeks now). A few days ago he said that his motorcycle was broken, therefore needing to be fixed. He found some "ramps" to help with the fixing process.

I had run upstairs to grab everyone some clothes after breakfast. I came down the stairs to this cute view. I must say, my heart melted as I watched three little boys reading books that morning.

Gavin is now 3....where did the time go? He loves to sing, play tractors and started preschool at the first of this month (JOY school with 3 other kid).

Gavin was to put his pajamas in the washer...he did...along with himself. He said he was cold and needed to get warm. Yes the washer is full of water AND clothes AND Gavin.

Judson and Corbyn will be 20 months on Monday. They have become quite hilarious and mischevious all in one. Judson is more quiet and studious; we find him "reading" books often during the day. Corbyn is boisterous, loves to try to repeat everything you say and VERY energetic.

Preying Mantis fun today

Gavin caught three Preying Mantis in the last couple of days. Judson is in blue and Corbyn in red.

I am often amazed at Gavin and his abilities to pay attention to the details as well as be kind and gentle. This is Gavin's idea of clean up time

Judson - the things I can do at 1:

• Crawl quite quickly everywhere - I love the stairs both backwards and forwards


• Push chairs and toy car around, as well as, walk along the wall


• Say: Ot oh (however you spell that); mama


• Clap but only when things are extremely exciting


• Dance to music side by side


• Turn the water on in the bathtub - I love to drink it coming out of the spout too!


• Excellent sleeper
  

Corbyn - the things I can do at 1:

• Crawl quite quickly everywhere - I love to sneak up the stairs before anyone turns around
• Say: Ot oh (however you spell that); mama; that( as he points)
• Clap and laugh as often as possible , especially at Gavin
• Crawl in and out of cabinets
• Color on a sheet of paper

Look who turned one on Jan 21st

WOW! Judson and Corbyn's birthday came really fast. The theme of the party was none less than...TWO by TWO. I made (well attempted to make) an ark cake with cupcakes as part of the decor. Both Judson and Corbyn loved the cupcake. Judson went directly to eating while Corbyn played with it and then decided the texture would be suitable for intake. I think they enjoyed their big day.
