My first car!

Gavin loves this new little toy. It has a key crank that lights up and makes a car noise. We find him cranking it before he gets on to ride. He consistently plays on or with this little car....hummm...is he a little boy? The only problem is that he pushes it up to reach things he wants and then stands on it.

East Texas

We drove back with Ash's family to East Texas to spend a day with my parents. We went to the zoo and Gavin rode on Pappa's 4wheeler.

Gavin loved petting the goats at the zoo. He loved pulling their ears but the goats were quite so fond.

Dad drove Gavin 'round and 'round the yard. When they would stop, Gavin would move back and forth trying to get it started.

Sand was consistently stuck to every part of Gavin's body.

Andi, Ash's niece, thought it would be fun to fix Ash and Shilo's hair.

Destin, Florida

We met Ash's family in Destin for a week on the beach. Gavin loved the sand and quickly adjusted to playing on the water's edge. He was filthy constantly. He loved the attention he consistently received. Thought we would share a few pictures.

Our newest versions of Davy Crockett

My parents have this cute Davy Crockett outfit that they wanted pictures of each of the boys wearing, so we went to the Riverwoods and were able to capture some really cute ones. Gavin was most interested in getting in the water while Maddox really was not feeling up to the photo shoot.

The Mc Girl Reunion

Last weekend, all my sisters were able to come and play. It was so fun to be together! The little boys had fun playing, as well as the big boys. It was quite interesting that the girls got a NIGHT out and the boys got a DAY out. Nevertheless, we had a blast.


As Jenn says, "Boys and their toys". As we left for girls night out, the little boys were corralled in Ash's truck. Nothing like cute little diaper booties!

We splurged while shopping and then we really splurged as we ate Cold Stone. YUMMY!
